The Ohio State Buckeyes moved to No. 12 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll for Week 3 of the college football season. After their 31-16 victory over Central Florida, the Buckeyes moved two spots up in the ranking. Urban Meyer's squad is currently two slots behind fellow Big Ten squad Michigan State.
The Ohio Bobcats received 17 votes in the poll after beating New Mexico State 51-24 on Saturday. They improved to 2-0 with the other win being against Penn State in Week 1.
Alabama against came in No. 1 with USC, LSU and Oregon following the Crimson Tide in AP voting. That top four didn't budge from last week's ranking. UCLA, Tennessee, Arizona and BYU made their way into the top-25 poll while Nebraska, Wisconsin and Oklahoma State were notable teams who fell out following losses.
