NFL combine 2013: Johnathan Hankins among Ohio State invitees

Buckeyes send seven to the 2013 Combine.

Defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins highlights a list of seven Ohio State Buckeyes who received invitations to the 2013 NFL Combine, which will take place at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis on Feb. 20-26. Coverage of the week-long gathering of future pro footballers and scouts will be available on NFL Network.

Hankins, a mammoth 335-lb. run stopper who left school after his junior season, is widely seen as one of the top defensive tackles in this year's class and is a mortal lock for the first round of April's NFL Draft. Hankins appeared in every game in his three-year collegiate career, and his size makes him an ideal candidate to anchor a professional defensive line.

Also receiving invitations from Columbus were fullback Zach Boren, tight end Jake Stoneburner, offensive lineman Reid Fragel, defensive ends John Simon and Nate Williams, and linebacker Etienne Sabino. Simon is a likely draft pick, while Stoneburner may receive some interest in the later rounds.

Ohio offensive lineman Eric Herman received a Combine invitation, as did Miami (OH) quarterback Zac Dysert and Kent State lineman Brian Winters.
