The Ohio State Buckeyes saw early-game domination fade away late as they were upset by the No. 15 Indiana Hoosiers late in the game, losing 74-70.Jared Sullinger was held to fifteen points, nine of which came from free throws, which he went 9-of-13 on. It was Ohio State's second loss of the season, and the second time that Indiana upset a top-five team this season. Earlier in the year, Indiana won in the final seconds over the then-No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats.

Ohio State dominated the game early, doubling up on Indiana, but eventually entered the half down by one, trailing 33-32. Cody Zeller and others hit three straight baskets in the final minute to put Indiana ahead, and the momentum was firmly established heading into the second half. This was the kind of outcome that Ohio State knew was a possibility, given Indiana's history of playing games like that this season.

The Buckeyes' Aaron Craft led all scorers with 16 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. He went 6-for-10 from the field and 3-for-4 with his free throws, while Victor Oladipo led the way for Indiana, with 15 points, six rebounds, three steals, one assist and a block.

Ohio State will take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers next, looking for a win to rebound from their second loss of the season.

The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes are currently chasing Syracuse for the best team in the nation, and a win over the No. 15 Indiana Hoosiers would certainly help their cause. Not as much as it would have had Indiana not suffered their first loss of the season in their last outing, but it remains a tough challenge either way. Still, through one half of play, the Buckeyes are playing well, taking a sizable lead, doubling up on the Hoosiers at the beginning.

Indiana responded well though, and with less-than five minutes left, they pilled within four, and in the final minute, took the lead in a big way. Six-straight points in the final minute from Cody Zeller, among others, put Indiana in the lead for the first time, closing out the first half with a 33-32 lead and smelling upset.

Aaron Craft leads Ohio State players with seven points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Verdell Jones III leads the Hoosiers with 12 points and a rebound. For now, it's a very close game, but Ohio State needs to be careful, as it's the kind of game the Hoosiers have been winning all season.

For more on the Buckeyes, visit SB Nation's Along the Olentangy.

The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes have an opportunity to fortify their position as the top team in the Big Ten when they take the court in a hostile Assembly Hall on Saturday evening to take on the No. 15 Indiana Hoosiers.

The Buckeyes will need a big game out of forward Jared Sullinger in the post to force Indiana to work at the defensive end and neutralize the Hoosiers' talented freshman big man, Cody Zeller. The 6'-11" Zeller leads a balanced attack for Indiana as the team's top scorer at 14.2 points per game, the best of five players averaging double figures.

After racing out to a 12-0 non-conference record with a signature win at home over Kentucky, Indiana lost their first game of the season at Michigan State earlier in the week. Big Ten play was a rude awakening for Zeller as he struggled with the strong Spartan front court, only scoring four points with three rebounds.

Zeller and his teammates should feel much more comfortable at home with their raucous fan base behind them so it will be up to the Buckeyes to take advantage of their matchup advantages. Deshaun Thomas and Will Buford will need to add their scoring punch to help Sullinger while Aaron Craft will have to use his physical advantage to keep Indiana's point guard Jordan Hulls from igniting the Hoosiers' offensive attack.

Big Ten champions win big road games in conference Saturday's game at Indiana qualifies as just such a game for Ohio State.
