The No. 16 Wisconsin Badgers picked up a huge victory on Sunday by defeating the No. 9 Ohio St. Buckeyes on the road, 63-60. It was an extremely hard-fought game for the entire 40 minutes, but a late run by Wisconsin during the final minute of play resulted in the victory.

At 1:03 left on the clock, Lenzelle Smith Jr. fouled Jordan Taylor, sending him to the foul line. The first one tied the game at 57, the second gave Wisconsin the 58-57 lead. Jared Sullinger temporarily put Ohio State back in the lead on a layup, 59-58, but Jared Berggren hit a three with 29.9 on the clock.

Fifteen seconds later, Berggren made both attempts from the free throw line after Aaron Craft foul. With the 63-59 lead, Wisconsin saw Deshaun Thomas miss a three for the Buckeyes, which was followed by a missed jumped from Craft. This all happened within a second. Craft wound up going to the line for two free throws, making only one. But with only 0.4 left on the clock there wasn't much left to do.

Jordan Taylor led the Badgers with 19 points, which was one point better than Berggren's 18. Ryan Evans scored 10 points and pulled down 10 boards. Thomas had a game-high 23 points and seven rebounds. Craft contributed 13 points while William Buford added 15 points and nine rebounds.

Ohio State looks to sweet Wisconsin.

The No. 8 Ohio State Buckeyes (23-5, 11-4) host the No. 16 Wisconsin Badgers (20-8, 9-6) on Sunday afternoon in a key Big Ten matchup.

After Michigan State beat Nebraska on Saturday night, Ohio State will attempt to keep pace in the race for the regular-season Big Ten title. The Buckeyes are currently one loss behind the Spartans so a win today will help set up what could be a fantastic finish to the conference schedule when Ohio State visits Michigan State for the last game of the season.

But the Buckeyes can't look ahead as Wisconsin always presents a challenge and should be desperate to find a way to win in Columbus on Sunday. The Badgers are 2-2 in their last four games including a heart-breaking 67-66 loss at Iowa on Thursday.

Ohio State is also 2-2 in their last four games with losses to Michigan State and at Michigan, but the Buckeyes were strong in putting away Illinois 83-67 in their last outing on Tuesday.

Ohio State won the first matchup between these teams in Madison earlier in the season. Jared Sullinger had his way around the bucket in the 58-52 win, scoring 24 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 4:00 p.m. ET and will be televised on CBS.
