The Cleveland Cavaliers had a three-game winning streak going against some quality opponents -- Denver and Oklahoma City on the road, and Houston -- but lost it on Tuesday night against the Toronto Raptors at home. The Raptors never trailed after they took the lead in the second quarter and ultimately left the Q with a 96-88 win, their 14th of the season. Cleveland fell to 16-24.

Toronto held the Cavaliers to 38-percent shooting from the field and 3-for-15 from long distance. Kyrie Irving scored only 14 points on 5-for-17 shooting and had seven assists. Antawn Jamison led the Cavs with 20 points on 8-for-18 shooting.

The Raptors finished shooting 50-percent from the field and had four players in double figures. Jerry Bayless wound up finishing with a team-high 20 points and seven assists. Andrea Bargnani added 19 points and eight boards.

Cleveland will look to get another winning streak going tomorrow night in Milwaukee.

The Cavaliers have won three in a row, and they've done so against some of the Western Conference's better teams. Now the Cavs will try to keep it going against the East.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have reeled off three straight wins against some of the best the Western Conference has to offer. Now they'll try to keep it going against a lowly Eastern Conference team, the Toronto Raptors.

It was the first time all season that Cleveland, 16-23, had won three straight games, and it was all the more surprising because the wins came against three teams currently in the top eight in the West -- including the conference's top team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The other two victims were Denver and Houston; the Cavs toppled Houston 118-107 on Sunday.

The Cavs, who are within a half-game of the No. 8 spot in the East standings, now have six straight games against Eastern Conference opponents.

Antawn Jamison has been playing some of his best basketball of the season of late. He's gone for 33, 21 and 28 points, respectively, over the last three. The 33 points he dropped against Denver were one shy of a season-high. He has also averaged more than seven boards over that stretch.

Toronto, meanwhile, has lost two in a row and four of its last six, falling to 13-28. The Raptors have given up 105 points in each of the last two.
